This accident in Volusia County almost ended badly

Unfortunately, car crashes in Florida are common, and negligence is often to blame for these accidents. The term “negligent driving” describes a range of behaviors, like distracted driving (texting while driving), driving under the influence, speeding, and not yielding to traffic.

Florida statistics show that 83,870 accidents resulted from careless driving in 2020. Other leading factors were failure to yield (38,876 crashes) and following too closely (28,917 accidents).

Speeding is one of the leading causes of tragic accidents, which means that drivers should follow posted speed limits and adapt their speeds to match the conditions of the road, such as weather or traffic. In addition, drivers need to stay alert and aware of their surroundings, especially on quiet roads and near intersections.

It can be challenging to recover from the trauma of a car accident, both physically and emotionally. As a personal injury lawyer, Rebein Law is here to help you get the compensation you deserve.
