The North Palm Beach man entered westbound traffic and crashed into another SUV driven by a 72-year-old Arcadia man. The impact caused the second SUV to be pushed back and hit the following semi-truck.
The second SUV overturned, and the semi came to a rest on the north shoulder. The North Palm Beach man and the Arcadia man suffered fatal injuries.
An ongoing investigation into the fatal accident is in progress.
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the families of the deceased victims at this time.
Fatal Pileup Crashes in Florida
All states see a high number of traffic accidents each year, but Florida has some of the worst numbers. With an average of 2,400 traffic-related deaths each year in previous years, the Sunshine State ranks third in the nation for motor vehicle fatality. Driving continues to be one of the most dangerous things we do almost every day.
When a terrible accident strikes your family, it is only natural that you and your loved ones are reeling from the psychological and emotional stress associated with your loss. Your sadness may be amplified when the death of a loved one was the consequence of the negligence or purposeful actions of another person. While the loss of a loved one is always difficult, the intensity of your grieving may be increased when that death was caused by another person.
If the other party had just taken reasonable precautions to prevent the accident, your loved one may still be alive today if they had done so. You have the ability to seek legal justice through a lawsuit for wrongful death, which allows you to hold the guilty person accountable for the loss of your loved one.
If a member of your family passed away as a result of someone else’s carelessness, you and your family may be entitled to compensation. You can make a claim to have the person accountable for the associated costs cover them by working with a wrongful death lawyer in Arcadia.
