Brandon, FL (August 9, 2021) – There were reported injuries after two vehicles collided in Brandon on Sunday, August 8.
The crash was reported near the intersection of FL-60 and Limona Road. The Florida Highway Patrol was informed of the collision at around 12 p.m. According to local authorities, a vehicle was traveling westbound on the highway when it hit the front of another vehicle while attempting to make a lane change.
The impact caused the first vehicle to leave the roadway and crash into a nearby pond. The driver sustained serious injuries in the accident. Two occupants of the other vehicle were also injured, and all three were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. No further updates on the crash have been provided.
The ongoing accident investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
