Brooksville, FL – Car Accident Results in Injuries on I-75 near Cortez Blvd

Brooksville, FL (September 3, 2022) – Multiple responders were sent to the scene of a car wreck in Brooksville on the morning of September 2. At around 7:24 a.m., at least two vehicles collided on Interstate 75.
Police vehicles, ambulances, and other emergency crews were seen in the area a short time after the incident occurred. Reports show it happened near Cortez Boulevard.
Two lanes of the roadway were blocked while responders worked to secure the scene. Traffic delays took place for some time while emergency personnel worked at the scene.
Injuries were reported as a result of the wreck. Paramedics rendered aid to injured victims at the crash site before transporting at least one person to the hospital for further care.
