Child and Woman killed, 4 others hurt in multi-vehicle crash in Florida

Florida Highway Patrol troopers have reported a devastating multi-vehicle crash in Florida in Osceola County.

According to FHP, the chain-reaction crash happened at around 6:10 p.m. Monday, December 19, in Osceola County on State Road 426, south of Sinclair Road. Police report that three drivers were traveling south on SR-426 and slowed down, resulting in a collision. The force of the collision resulted in one of the vehicles rolling over.

In the violent crash, a 35-year-old Orlando woman and a 10-year-old boy both lost their lives to the injuries they sustained. Four others were treated for minor injuries. The names of the victims have not been released.

It is still unclear what caused the crash, however, a detailed investigation is underway.
