Clearwater, FL (February 19, 2022) – On the morning of Thursday, February 17, Clearwater emergency responders were called to a major traffic accident. At 6:44 a.m. the collision occurred near the intersection of Gulf to Bay and Park Place Boulevards.

As a result of the collision, the area was closed, and at least one person was injured. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. Emergency personnel on the scene examined and treated the crash victims. The initial reports did not include the number of people who were injured.

Local authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, and more information will be released as the investigation progresses.
