Florida Distracted Driving Crashes
The issue of distracted driving is one that is increasingly common across the nation. Being the second-worst state for distracted driving, Florida is well-known. In this state, over 50,000 events that end in injury or fatalities also have distracted driving as a significant component. If you were struck by a car that was driving irresponsibly, you could be eligible to file a claim for financial compensation.
Accidents may rank among the worst experiences one can have, but going to the ER doesn’t necessarily mean the battle is over. Along with physical therapy, other medical procedures, and follow-up appointments, it’s likely that you’ll experience some time off work during which you won’t be paid. Additionally, you could be experiencing bodily discomfort.
Despite the efforts of several organizations to improve passenger, vehicle, and road safety in Florida and around the country, car accidents still happen often. Numerous factors, such as inclement weather, inattentive driving, texting while driving, and violations of traffic regulations, can result in car accidents. You must drive carefully, but you cannot control how other drivers will act.
