Clearwater, FL – Injury Wreck on I-275 near milepost 33

Clearwater, FL (November 27, 2022) – A serious car crash was reported to police in Pinellas County on the evening of November 27. Shortly after 6:00 p.m., emergency crews were sent to the scene of an accident on Interstate 275.
Sources report the wreck occurred at around 6:05 p.m. on I-275 near milepost 33. Two left lanes of the interstate were blocked while emergency crews were present in the area. At least one person required emergency medical attention at the crash site.
The total number of parties injured in the crash has not been reported at this time. Investigations are being carried out by area authorities concerning the reason the wreck occurred.
Delays in traffic ensued near the crash site for an extended period of time on the evening of November 27. Emergency responders asked local drivers to use alternate travel routes for the time being.
