Clearwater, FL (June 17, 2022) – A pedestrian was killed following a traffic accident in Clearwater on Thursday night, June 16. The deadly crash was reported at the crossing of US-19 and Gulf to Bay Boulevard at around 9 p.m.
A man was walking along the highway when he was hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. He was transported to Morton Plant Hospital in serious condition. He was later pronounced dead at the medical facility. All westbound lanes were temporarily closed following the accident.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly pedestrian crash is underway.
