Florida Speeding-Related Crashes
In Florida, speed may have a significant role in catastrophic accidents. When the weather is bad, a road is being renovated, or it’s late at night in a dimly lit area, it’s risky to drive the speed limit. Everyone on the road is at risk when someone speeds, not only the motorist who is at fault. In the United States in 2019, speeding was a contributory cause of 26% of all road deaths.
