Crash on I-95 near Race Track Road kills 1, injures 2

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, on March 2, Thursday morning, a man was killed after a crash on I-95 involving a semi-truck and a box truck in the northbound lane near Race Track Road.
The unfortunate crash happened when the box truck rear-ended the semi as the tractor-trailer tried to merge onto I-95 northbound.
A passenger of the box truck, a 31 year old Orlando man, died at the scene. The 22 year old box truck driver from Jacksonville was seriously injured, while the semi-truck driver, 36, from Homestead, suffered relatively minor injuries. The drivers were both taken to nearby hospitals.
Investigators are looking into the incident and will release more details soon.
