Dade City, FL (July 27, 2022) – A man was killed after colliding with a tractor-trailer in Dade City on Tuesday afternoon, July 26. The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Bellamy Brothers Drive and Johnston Road at around 1:11 p.m.
Local sources reported that a Plant City man was driving on the road as a tractor-trailer was traveling in the opposite direction. Both vehicles collided on the roadway. The impact caused the passenger car to spin out.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly accident is underway.
