Fatal Wrong-Way Crashes in Florida
Even while wrong-way crashes are uncommon, recent evidence indicates that they are becoming more frequent and often fatal. A total of 500 people died in wrong-way collisions between 2015 and 2018, according to the American Automobile Association. With a death rate of about 58% and making up around 10% of all fatal wrecks annually, head-on collisions are among the deadliest collision types.
