Dunedin, FL (February 9, 2022) – Dunedin emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a major traffic accident on Wednesday afternoon, February 9. At 12:13 p.m. the car accident occurred near the intersection of US-19 NB and Curlew Road.

As a result of the collision, several lanes were closed, and at least one person was injured. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. Emergency personnel on the scene examined and treated the crash victims. The initial reports did not include the number of people who were injured.

Local authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, and more information will be released as the investigation progresses.
