Fatal Florida accident kills one and severely injures two

Troopers are investigating a fatal Florida accident that killed one Monday morning, March 27, on County Road 137 in southeastern Suwannee County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a Ford Taurus swerved into the wrong lane and crashed into a Toyota Corolla. The brutal wreck injured the Ford driver badly, an O’Brian man of 41. The man was taken to the HCA Lake City hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive.
A 41 year old Ford passenger and the 43 year old Toyota driver were also critically injured, and they were rushed to UF Health in Gainesville.
A detailed investigation is underway to identify what went wrong.
