Fatal Trucking Accidents in Florida
Due to their bigger size, trucks are more frequently involved in accidents that result in severe injuries and major property damage. This is especially true when they strike passenger cars. A truck may weigh up to 30 times as much as a typical passenger vehicle. The severity of trucking accidents is one of the primary reasons why there are so many personal injury lawsuits filed against truck drivers and the businesses they work for.
If you lost a loved one in an accident that was someone else’s fault, you can be qualified for financial compensation through a wrongful death case. Grieving the loss of a loved one is never easy, and it may be even more challenging if the death resulted from circumstances that might have been prevented entirely. Given that you are aware that your relative was killed by someone else, who may have been able to stop it, this situation is both unfair and traumatic.
