Hernando Co, FL (August 24, 2021) – A two-vehicle accident in Hernando County resulted in the death of a Port Richey man on Tuesday, August 24.
The deadly crash reportedly occurred on US-19 near the crossing with Berkeley Manor Drive. Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol revealed that the 48-year-old Port Richey man was traveling southbound on the highway on a motorcycle at the time of impact. The rider reportedly collided with a passenger near the intersection.
The injured party was transported to a local hospital by responding medical personnel. Despite lifesaving measures at the hospital, he was later pronounced dead. At this time, the identity of the deceased victim has not been revealed.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal impact is being handled by local law enforcement officials, and additional information will be released as it continues.
