Hillsborough Co, FL (August 21, 2022) – At around 2:00 p.m. on August 21, a car crash happened in Hillsborough that resulted in injuries. Sources say the accident occurred on I-275 for currently unknown reasons.
At least two vehicles crashed on the roadway known as I-275 near Ashley Drive. Three right lanes of the roadway were blocked while responders worked in the area.
Paramedics, fire crews, and police were sent to the scene to assist those involved. At least one person sustained injuries in the accident, however, the extent of those injuries has not been reported.
The crash site was active with responders for several hours on the afternoon of August 21. At least one person was transported from the scene to a local hospital.
At this time, police continue to investigate the details of the crash. No further details have been concerning the accident or its circumstances.
