Holiday, FL – Ciera McKeon Hurt, Hit by SUV at Anclote High School

Holiday, FL (February 11, 2022) – A school teacher was critically injured after being hit and dragged by an SUV at Anclote High School in Holiday on Thursday morning, February 10.

Local reports revealed that 28-year-old Ciera McKeon was at the school when she was struck by an oncoming motorist. The 24-year-old Clearwater man was driving an SUV when he hit McKeon. The man told authorities he did not see her and did not know that she was hit.

McKeon was reportedly struck underneath the vehicle for some time. She was transported to Tampa General Hospital and was listed in critical condition. No updates on her condition have been revealed at this time.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
