Lake Wales, FL (May 19, 2021) – Two men were killed following a rollover accident in the Lake Wales area on Tuesday, May 18.
The deadly crash occurred that night at around 7:45 p.m. A black 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck carrying two occupants was traveling westbound on FL-60 at the time of the accident. The 27-year-old male driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle while approaching a curve on the roadway.
The vehicle crossed the median and overturned multiple times. The driver and the 35-year-old male passenger were ejected in the crash. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
An ongoing investigation into the fatal accident is underway.
