Lockhart, FL – One Dead, Two Transported After Accident at Edgewater Commerce Pky and Edgewater Dr

Lockhart, FL (September 10, 2022) – Troopers from the Florida Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene of a fatal crash in Orange County on Saturday, September 10th.

At about 11:55 a.m., two vehicles collided at the intersection of Edgewater Drive and Edgewater Commerce Parkway in Lockhart when a Honda Accord turned left onto Edgewater Commerce Parkway directly in front of a Chevrolet Camaro.

Police said that the driver of the Honda, a 52-year-old man from Orlando, was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 53-year-old man, also from Orlando, was transferred to Orlando Regional Medical Center in non-critical condition. His passenger, a 31-year-old man from Palm Coast, was moved to Advent Health South Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
