Manatee Co, FL (July 22, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a major car collision in Manatee County, according to local officials.
According to initial accounts, the collision happened at 7:57 a.m. that morning. The incident occurred near the crossroads of US-301 SB and Tallevast Road, according to reports. Emergency personnel were summoned to the scene to aid the victims after the collision.
Due to the collision, all lanes of the roadway were closed. The area was momentarily closed when local officials arrived as paramedics treated people who had been injured in the tragedy. Ambulances were dispatched to the area, ready to transfer the injured to local hospitals for treatment.
There have been no more updates on the event as of yet. The cause of the crash is being investigated by law enforcement officers.
