High-Speed Crashes in Tampa FL
In the past twenty years, speeding was a contributory cause in almost one-third of all traffic deaths. In 2018, a total of 9,378 people died in high-speed collisions in the United States, an average of 25 people per day.
When a car violates the posted speed limit and collides with another vehicle, the driver of the vehicle that did not exceed the stated speed limit almost usually suffers more serious injuries than the driver of the vehicle that did not exceed the posted speed limit.
