A motorcycle crash in Collier County proved fatal for the rider in Golden Gate around 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a motorcycle crashed into a pickup truck on 19th Place SW when the eastbound motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve and veered off its lane.

The incident is under investigation, and more details should emerge in the coming days.

We extend our deepest condolences to the departed’s family during this difficult time.

This motorcycle crash in Collier County ended badly

A Florida motorcycle crash can have disastrous consequences. Most people probably don’t realize how common they are. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) estimates that more than 550 fatal motorcycle accidents occur annually in Florida, making it the most dangerous state for riders. Responsibility for cutting down on crashes rests with all drivers, including riders.

Sadly, accidents like this happen incredibly quickly, but it takes months or years for a family to come to terms with their loss. There’s no way to erase or lessen the trauma, yet financial compensation is a small step toward healing and closure. Riders’ families deserve justice and fair compensation.

An experienced Collier County motorcycle accident lawyer can protect your rights and help you get compensated fairly. We’ll fight for your rights and make sure justice prevails.
