Motorcycle rider thrown from bike pronounced dead in a bike wreck in Florida

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported that a 52-year-old man died in a bike wreck in Florida on Monday, January 9. The horrific accident occurred around 2 PM at the crossing of Tenth Avenue N and Rudolf Road when a Harley-Davidson Sportster crashed into a Honda Odyssey.

According to reports, as a Honda Odyssey was turning north from Tenth Avenue North onto Rudolf Road, a motorcycle turned west at high speed. The Honda driver was unable to see the bike coming until it crashed into his minivan’s passenger-side front wheel.

The violent impact of the collision flung the rider off his motorcycle. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene by the paramedics. He was subsequently identified as Adrian Quesada from Port St. Lucie.

Investigations into the accident are currently ongoing. Following the accident, Tenth Avenue N eastbound was closed between Congress Avenue and Florida Mango Road for an extended period of time.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Quesada family during this heartbreaking calamity.

This bike wreck in Florida ended up tragic

Accidents involving motorcycles are among the deadliest on the road due to the fact that motorcycle riders are virtually unprotected on the road. In collisions, larger, faster-moving vehicles can prove disastrous and sometimes even fatal for riders.

Motorcycles account for no more than 1% of Florida’s registered vehicles, and less than 3% of its vehicle miles traveled (VMT). However, they remain a significant cause of traffic fatalities, accounting for nearly 17% of all crashes in Florida over the last five years.

Having lost someone you love in a fatal motorcycle accident can leave you feeling totally overwhelmed by the magnitude of the situation. It may seem as if your future is a blank canvas. The loss of your loved one can never be compensated by money, but financial compensation might be able to help you cover some or most of the expenses.

It’s your right to seek compensation if you believe a careless driver’s negligence has led to your loved one’s death.

You can count on Rebein Law’s experienced Tampa Motorcycle Accident Lawyers to successfully represent you over the entire compensation claim process.
