Myakka City, FL – Multi-Vehicle Injury Collision on SR-70 near I-75

Myakka City, FL (November 26, 2022) – A car crash in Myakka City required an emergency dispatch in the early morning hours of November 26. At around 3:44 a.m., on Saturday, dispatchers received reports of a severe car wreck on SR-70.
Sources state that the accident occurred between multiple vehicles on State Route 70 near Interstate 75. All roadway lanes were closed while emergency crews worked at the scene.
One or more people who were involved in the crash were in need of medical care at the scene. Paramedics rendered aid to those with injuries before transporting seriously wounded patients to local hospitals for treatment.
The names of those involved have not been released at this time. Police in Myakka City are still investigating the details of the incident.
