Fatal Intersection Collisions in Florida

Palm River-Clair Mel, FL - One Killed, Another Hurt in Collision at 24th Ave & US-41Every year, intersection crashes in Florida result in around 885 fatalities and 94,700 injuries to victims. Accidents are almost always fully preventable if proper precautions are taken. When someone is wounded in an accident due to the negligence of another party, they almost always have the legal right to file a personal injury claim in order to seek compensation for their injuries. Your lost loved one cannot be brought back by money. It will not alleviate the discomfort that you are now feeling. On the other hand, it may alleviate some of the sudden financial constraints brought on by the untimely death of a loved one and perhaps provide you with a feeling of vindication.

In wrongful death cases, as opposed to other forms of personal injury lawsuits, there are restrictions placed on the number of damages that can be awarded. It is not the victim who is compensated in the event of a successful wrongful death claim. Instead, it is the person’s surviving family members. Therefore, the amount of damages that were awarded is meant to represent that fact.

If the actions of another person ended in the death of your family member, you may be eligible to file a wrongful death claim.
