Pasco Co, FL – Driver Fatally Injured in Head-On Crash at FL-54 & Rowan Rd

Pasco Co, FL (August 13, 2021) – On Wednesday, August 11, a New Port Richey man was killed following a serious collision in Pasco County.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the deadly accident occurred near the crossing of FL-54 and Rowan Road at around 7:30 p.m. that evening. Local reports revealed that a 38-year-old Port Richey woman lost control of her vehicle and crossed the centerline. She crashed head-on with an SUV driven by a 29-year-old New Port Richey man.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics. A 25-year-old woman traveling in the SUV was also injured in the crash and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Neither the other driver nor her 27-year-old passenger were injured. The identities of the involved parties have not been provided at this time.
