Pasco Co, FL – Multiple Injuries After Driver Runs Light on US-301

Pasco Co, FL (August 6, 2021) – On Thursday, August 5, a total of six people sustained injuries after a driver ran a traffic light in Pasco County.

The incident occurred on US-301 at Centennial Boulevard that afternoon. Three of the victims were reportedly children, ranging from roughly one to 10 years of age. Local reports revealed that a 2013 Chrysler 300 operated by a 77-year-old woman ran a red light at the intersection.

This resulted in the Chrysler crashing into the side of a red 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV. There were five people inside the Chevy, including the three juvenile victims. Everyone involved in the accident was taken to a local medical facility for the treatment of sustained injuries. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been released at this time.

An ongoing investigation into the crash is in progress.
