Pedestrian accident in Jacksonville ends in death

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a pedestrian accident in Jacksonville that resulted in a fatality on Sunday, February 26 around 7:30 PM at Cesery Blvd, on Seabrook Cove Road.
The investigation says the individual was heading north across eastbound traffic when he ran straight into a sedan. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sedan driver has identified herself as a 66-year-old woman from Jacksonville. The pedestrian remains unidentified.
Troopers say the driver stopped at the crash site and was willing to cooperate with them. A thorough investigation of the events leading up to the accident is underway.
