Plant City, FL – One Killed, Two Hurt in Collision on US-92

Plant City, FL (March 21, 2022) – A two-vehicle crash in Plant City left one person dead and two others injured on Saturday evening, March 19. The deadly crash was reported on US-92 near Robinson Orange Park.

A 16-year-old was driving a pickup truck on the highway when they attempted to pass a sedan. The driver slammed into the rear of the sedan, and both vehicles crashed into a raised wooden walkway. The pickup truck overturned due to the impact.

The driver of the pickup suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The 36-year-old driver of the sedan and a 17-year-old passenger of the truck were injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

An ongoing investigation into the deadly accident is underway.
