Plant City, FL (April 9, 2022) – Four people were injured and another killed following a single-vehicle accident near Plant City on Friday morning, April 8. The deadly crash was reported on Interstate 75.
Local reports revealed that an SUV was traveling on the highway when the driver lost control near mile marker 247. The vehicle ended up rolling over several times. One of the passengers was ejected.
The ejected occupant suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was seriously injured and hospitalized for treatment. The remaining three occupants were taken to local hospitals.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is underway.
