Plant City, FL (October 10, 2022) – On Sunday, October 9, a woman was killed and two others were injured following a head-on collision in Plant City. 

The accident was reported on FL-60 near Ramsgate Place at around 7:50 a.m. A woman traveling on the highway reportedly lost control and crossed the grass median. The driver crashed head-on with an eastbound vehicle. 

The 39-year-old Plant City woman operating the first car suffered fatal injuries. The occupants of the other vehicle, a 27-year-old Plant City woman and a 3-year-old child, were also hurt. 

No further information has been supplied.

An ongoing crash investigation is underway.
