Deadly Hit-&-Run Crashes in Tampa

Polk Co, FL - Fatal Hit-&-Run Accident at US-92 & Clark RdFleeing the scene of an accident is illegal, and it may prevent injured parties from receiving vital medical treatment. In the United States, the number of hit-and-run events has reached new highs, and the number continues to rise year after year. In 2015, there were approximately 737,100 hit-and-run accidents reported across the country or once every 43 seconds. The pain and devastation of losing a loved one as a result of someone else’s negligence is virtually intolerable, and it can leave those close to the victim with unanticipated costs. Survivors frequently bear a variety of losses as a consequence of the tragedy, and they may be able to recover lost compensation by filing a wrongful death claim with the aid of an experienced Florida wrongful death lawyer. In a wrongful death lawsuit in Tampa, a representative of the decedent’s estate — generally a close relative — seeks damages from those responsible for the person’s death in order to collect compensation for damages by holding the at-fault party accountable for their participation in a fatal accident.
