Sarasota County, FL – Woman Fatally Struck by Truck on Clark Rd

Sarasota County, FL (November 12, 2022) – A woman lost her life in a fatal pedestrian accident in Sarasota County on Friday evening, November 11. At around 7:00 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the collision.

Reports from authorities show the incident occurred on Clark Road when a grey Toyota pickup truck struck a woman, age 32. Her name has not been released at this time.

While emergency responders worked in the area, Clark Road was partially shut down to one westbound lane and one eastbound lane. Drivers were urged to use caution or find different routes.

At this time, no further information has been released concerning the crash or its circumstances.
