Sarasota, FL (October 25, 2021) – A house fire resulted in serious injuries to a juvenile in Sarasota on Sunday, October 24.
The incident occurred at a residence at the 3400 block of Crystal Lakes Court. Firefighters were called to the scene early that morning at around 9:24 a.m. Emergency responders were notified of a pediatric medical emergency.
A child was transported by helicopter to Tampa General Hospital. The victims suffered severe burns in the fire. At this time, no additional information has been provided.
An ongoing accident investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
