Pedestrian Accidents in Tampa FL
Pedestrians are particularly vulnerable to severe collisions because there is nothing that can be done to protect them from the full power of the crash. Walkers are particularly at risk in Florida, which is well-known for being a dangerous state for pedestrians, particularly in metropolitan areas. Even though traffic fatality rates have decreased across the country, an increasing number of pedestrians are killed or injured in automobile accidents every year. As reported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, pedestrians are 1.5 times more likely than drivers to be killed in an automobile accident than drivers.
