Sarasota, FL – Update: Woman Fatally Hit by Car at 9th St & East Ave

Sarasota, FL (October 25, 2022) – On Monday, October 24, a woman was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Sarasota area.

The collision took place at the intersection of 9th Street and East Avenue at around 11 a.m. The woman was traveling near the crossroads when she was struck by an oncoming driver. She was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead. No further updates have been provided.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
