Sebring, FL (August 25, 2021) – A total of four people lost their lives in the aftermath of a multi-vehicle accident in Sebring on Sunday, August 22. 

The incident was reported late that night at around 8:46 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the crash site was located at the intersection of US-98 and Tubbs Ranch Road. Three vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. 

Local reports revealed that the 38-year-old man driving the first vehicle crossed the centerline while headed west on US-98. The driver sideswiped a car driven by a 45-year-old woman before crashing head-on with another vehicle driven by a 68-year-old man. The driver of the first car and his female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. A 6-year-old in the vehicle was taken to a hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries. 

The driver of the third vehicle was also killed. An ongoing investigation into the deadly accident is in progress.
