Sebring, FL – Woman Killed in Tractor-Trailer Crash at US-27 & Sebring Lakes Blvd

Sebring, FL (July 25, 2021) – On Friday, July 23, a woman was killed following a collision with a tractor-trailer in the Sebring area.

The incident took place in Highlands County late that evening at around 7:45 p.m. Emergency responders were sent to the scene located at the intersection of US-27 and Sebring Lakes Boulevard. Local reports revealed that a woman was traveling southbound on the highway when she lost control of her vehicle.

The woman’s car traveled into the northbound lanes and crashed head-on with an oncoming semi-truck. The victim’s vehicle came to a stop on the highway, while the tractor-trailer crossed the median and collided with a pole. The woman suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The trucker was also injured in the crash. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed at this time.
