Seffner, FL (May 21, 2022) – Three people were hurt in the aftermath of a residential fire on Joe Ebert Road in Seffner on Friday, May 20. The was reported late that night at around 11 p.m. 

When firefighters arrived, nearly 75% of the structure was reportedly on fire. A 9-year-old child was reportedly inside the home at the time of the blaze. The emergency responders worked hard in order to rescue the boy from the flaming home. 

The child, his mother, and the owner of the home were all taken to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The cause of the fire has not been revealed at this time. 

An investigation into the cause of the incident is being handled by local authorities.
