Seminole, FL (May 23, 2021) – A collision involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle in the Seminole area resulted in a fatality on Saturday, May 22.
Local reports indicated that the accident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. at the corner of 54th Avenue N. and Seminole Boulevard. A Harley Davidson Street Glide operated by a 56-year-old man was traveling northbound on Seminole Boulevard. At the same time, a southbound SUV driven by a 46-year-old woman was about to make a turn onto 54th Avenue.
The motorcyclist crashed into the woman as she was making the turn. Both the rider and his passenger were ejected in the accident. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The passenger is reportedly in critical condition.
The driver and passenger of the SUV were also injured. An ongoing investigation into the collision is underway.
