Speeding-Related Crashes in Florida
Drivers who speed are more likely to lose control of their vehicles, potentially resulting in serious accidents. In the United States, 9,378 people were killed in high-speed collisions in 2018. With nearly 25 people killed every day as a result of speeding drivers, speeding is one of the most common causes of fatal car accidents. High-speed collisions, according to statistics, are more likely to result in catastrophic injuries. Over the last two decades, speeding has been blamed for one-third of all road deaths in the United States.
With more fatal collisions occurring each year, car accidents are the leading cause of death and serious injuries in the United States, and the risk of suffering severe injuries in a collision is higher than you might think. Even in non-fatal collisions, the resulting injuries can be life-altering, leaving victims with high medical bills and no way to pay them. This difficult financial and emotional situation can quickly overwhelm innocent victims. After a serious car accident, it’s critical to make sure you get the compensation you need to recover fully, which is why injured parties should consult with a qualified car accident attorney in Seminole to increase their chances of a successful personal injury claim.
