Fatal Bicycle Accidents in Florida
The number of bicycle accidents in Florida is among the highest in the country. In comparison to other states, we have the greatest average yearly number of cycling deaths and the largest number of cyclist deaths per million population. Bicycle accidents may be fatal or have a significant impact on someone’s life when they neglect their duties to bikers.
Someone failing to yield the right of way is the cause of more than half of the bicycle accidents that involve vehicles in the state of Florida. The majority of bicycle accidents involving adults are brought on by drivers who fail to give the right of way. This is especially true in urban areas.
A person is said to have been the victim of wrongful death if they pass away as a direct result of the extreme carelessness or recklessness of another individual. A wrongful death is one of the most tragic events that may befall surviving loved ones, yet it is also one of the most preventable. This heartbreaking loss causes an unimaginable amount of suffering for the departed person’s loved ones.
