Deadly Pedestrian Crashes in Florida

St Pete Beach, FL - Maria Rodriguez Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Gulf WayIn Florida, pedestrians are more likely to be hurt or killed in vehicle accidents. Between 2010 and 2019, there were more than 6,000 pedestrian fatalities in Florida as a result of being hit by a car. Since the year 2019, there have been a growing number of instances involving hurt pedestrians.

When someone dies as a direct result of the excessive negligence or recklessness of another person, this is referred to as wrongful death. One of the most awful things that may happen to surviving family members is a wrongful death, but it’s also one of the most avoidable. The agony that the loved ones of the deceased experience as a result of this devastating loss is unfathomable.

In the event that someone is killed as a result of another person’s carelessness or negligence, the victim’s family and beneficiaries may bring a wrongful death claim in order to recover damages from the murderer. The loss of a loved one cannot be made up for by money or anything else. Our knowledgeable wrongful death attorneys have seen, however, that wrongful death compensation may aid bereaved Florida families in finding comfort and regaining their financial stability after the loss of a family member who supported the family.
