St Petersburg, FL (March 20, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a major traffic accident in St. Petersburg on Saturday night, March 19, according to local officials. The accident happened at 10:08 p.m. near the intersection of US-19 and 22nd Avenue S.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to assist the victims. As a result of the collision, several lanes were temporarily closed. At least one person was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance. At this time, the extent of the injuries is unknown.
