St Petersburg, FL (June 24, 2021) – A single-vehicle crash in St. Petersburg involving an alleged drunk driver resulted in the injury of a juvenile on Tuesday, June 22.
Reports from the Florida Highway Patrol revealed that 47-year-old Trisha Dale was traveling southbound on Interstate 275 at the time of the crash. Late that evening, she was driving in the outside lane when she veered off the roadway near mile marker 26. The vehicle crashed into a light pole before hitting a nearby guardrail.
A child in the vehicle suffered serious injuries in the impact. Dale was charged with multiple counts, including driving under the influence, neglect of a child involving great bodily harm, careless driving, and driving without a license. No further updates on the crash have been released at this time.
