Pedestrian Accidents in Tampa FL

St Petersburg, FL - Child Injured in Hit-&-Run at 55th Ave & 21st WayFlorida pedestrians are especially vulnerable when you consider that the state has a history for being a scary place for those traveling on foot, particularly in large metropolitan areas. Because there is little that can be done to shield pedestrians from the entire impact of a collision, they are particularly vulnerable.

Statistics show that pedestrians are almost 1.5 times more likely than the occupants of passenger cars to be killed in a vehicle collision, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Pedestrians are killed or wounded in vehicle accidents at a rising rate each year, despite the fact that overall traffic death rates have declined. Hit-and-run accidents overwhelmingly impact pedestrians who are more at risk of being seriously injured.

Some pedestrian accident victims question if they require a personal injury lawyer after a serious and unexpected accident, but even the most fundamental injury claims can provide unanticipated challenges for individuals who are unfamiliar with the legal system.

Even if you believe your claim is strong, you should get legal advice from a Tampa pedestrian injury lawyer to ensure that your entitlement to compensation is safeguarded in the case of an accident.
