St Petersburg, FL (May 26, 2022) – A bicycle rider suffered injuries after being hit by a motor vehicle in St. Petersburg on Wednesday afternoon, May 25. The accident was reported on 22nd Avenue near Interstate 275.
The victim was riding their bike when they were struck by an oncoming driver. The injured party was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Several westbound lanes were closed as emergency personnel provided necessary aid to the involved parties.
