High-Speed Collisions in Florida
Speeding is a serious concern in Florida, and thousands are killed annually in speeding-related collisions. According to data from 2016, more than 10% of Florida’s fatal crashes involved speeding or aggressive driving. A total of 3,176 people died in Florida that year as a result of 2,935 high-speed crashes.
The victims of car accidents suffer a variety of direct losses as a direct result of the collision, the most significant of which are medical bills. The cost of treating any kind of damage is going up as the overall cost of medical care continues to rise. Even a relatively minor injury may necessitate a visit to the emergency room, as well as prescription medicine, diagnostic testing, physical therapy, follow-up appointments, and sometimes even more.
Devastating injuries, such as those that affect the neck and back or the brain, may necessitate hospitalization, surgical procedures, or even the provision of care or assistance on a permanent basis. If you retain competent attorneys who will take into account all of your current and future medical expenses, you will be able to ensure that you pursue the maximum amount of financial compensation for your injuries. A lawyer can help you obtain fair compensation after an accident.
